Nitrocellulose

Crescent Chemicals represents Nitrex Chemicals India. Nitrex is a world class producer making the widest range of NC in the world. Grades produced by Nitrex include DBP, ATBC, ESO plasticized and IPA ester soluble grades for paint and coatings manufacture. Ethanol Damped Alcohol soluble grades for ink manufacture are also produced.

Nitrex evolved from the old ICI India plant and technology based both on chemical grade wood pulp cellulose and cotton linter cellulose came from ICI. Grades and nomenclature are thus exactly the same as Nobel grades which also came from the old ICI stable.
